霧に包まれたドーム。中谷が初めて発表した霧の彫刻＝応答するライブ環境。芸術と技術の実験グループ（E.A.T.）制作
白いドーム（直径50ｍ、高さ23ｍ）をすっぽりと霧に包む。大気と呼吸しながら刻々と変化する霧。ペプシ館は中谷芙二子が初めて発表した霧の彫刻＝応答するライブ環境である。自然と同じ位細かい霧を屋外で大量に発生させるための微細霧ノズルは、米国の雲物理学者トーマス・ミーによりこの彫刻のために開発された。ＭＥＥノズルは現在では農業、工業を含む様々な分野で世界的に活用されている。

The dome (23mx50m in height and diameter) was shrouded in fog on calm days and adorned with ever-changing cloud on windy days. Pepsi Pavilion was the first atmospheric Fog Sculpture created by Fujiko Nakaya. Special fog nozzles producing fine water droplets comparable to natural fog in size were invented by cloud physicist Thomas Mee for this project. Currently, Mee Fog Nozzles are used extensively in special effects agriculture, and industries.
