丘の上に切り立つ高さ30ｍの立方体の建築。その低層部分20ｍ×20ｍ×5ｍを人工霧で満たす。光を二瓶マサオ、音を森千二がデザイン。「自然との対応を体感する環境装置＝パフォーミング・アーキテクチャー（葉祥栄）」は、空・森・雲・雨・人工霧・虹・光・音を媒介して自然現象と人間をダイナミックに関係づける。呼吸する光に真綿のように輝く霧。乱舞する霧。蒸発による気圧の変化が嵐を呼び、霧は空へと消えていく。

The cubic structure of an observation deck rose 30m atop a hill. Its courtyard (20mx20mx5m) was filled with fog. The lighting was designed by Masao Nihei and the sound by Senji Mori. The ‘Performing Architecture’ was conceived by Shoei Yoh as an ‘apparatus for the physical experience of correspondence with nature’. Through the media of sky, trees, clouds, rain, rainbows, fog, light and sound, human beings and natural phenomena are thrust into dynamic interaction. (Observation Tower, Taikoyama Land)
